‘Life on the Waterdown Railway seems to be going smoothly, until a mysterious electric engine arrives, and trouble seems to be brought in its wake. Is there more to this engine than what first appears? Excitement, intrigue and action ensue in this mid-series finale.’
Mid series finales… you can have that right? Because try as I might have done to avoid it, the two halves of this series have somehow managed to end up like that of a Railway Series book, four stories either side. So yes, by this point, this is the halfway mark.
And what a half-way mark it is! The series now has a full cast! Of course, as each episode introduces or reintroduces characters I’ll be looking to fit more actors in, in the hopes that eventually there will be at least one scene in which I am not voicing a character at all. It’s getting close to that point, and I would like to thank all of the people who lent me their voices for this episode. You were all stupendous!
However, this production wasn’t without its problems. Twice over I almost corrupted all of the footage, and had that actually happened, you would have all had this as an audio drama. But luckily, everything was safe, and I didn’t panic at all [the sound of blatant lies]
Also, consider this a Christmas special, despite it being set chronologically the last week of spring. And it’s twenty six minutes long! Had I added more stuff in, this would have been the first time I’d ever exceeded thirty minutes!
So yes, have a wonderful time watching this episode!
